Brass Logo development

So after producing basic shapes Emily passed on the designs to me, and I started to think of ways in which we could make the design more illustrative. We wanted to do this as both me and emily work very illustratively and therefore wanted the logo to reflect this.

 I have experimented with different ways of including illustration in the pattern. The design above represents the ladder to success and the added half circles make the skirt look more feminine, Obviously representing that we are both female.

This design was based on the idea of connecting brainwaves, I wanted to show that we both work on the same level, therefore working well as a team. However we decided that his design looked to similar to a diamond and therefore looked ere-levant.

These are a few more designs which I have produced, I don't think they work quite as successfully as they don't quite work conceptually. 

Again this one is based on the idea of brain waves within different minds, we liked this design but both agreed we would have to be careful when applying it as it could potentially look very busy.
