The initial idea for the logo stemmed from combining the two elements, Copper and Zinc, which results in the reaction which makes Brass. This concept works well as we wanted to play on the fact there are two of us and we work together to create a successful outcome.
These are the initial logos produced by Emily, the Logo combines the Chemical signs for Copper and Zinc and makes them into a logo which creates Brass. We wanted to keep it simple and have the logo possibly Embossed or Foiled.
We have played around with different ways of having the logos combined. However we think that this one below works best, as it is both of the symbols together and it has been arranged so that it looks like two people and a giant skirt which would represent the fact we are both female.
